Chemistry

Purposes

The goal is to train chemistry teachers who have high-quality knowledge in the field of teaching chemistry based on the updated content of secondary education, capable of practical implementation of the knowledge gained in pedagogical activities by introducing innovative teaching technologies into the educational process.

Results

ON1. Carries out reflection of his activity, studying the best pedagogical practices, determining his own needs for improving professional activity through planning professional development with the further possibility of organizing his own business using knowledge of the basics of law and economic theory, entrepreneurship, design thinking, foreign language, STEM learning and problem solving techniques, design thinking, foreign language, STEM training.
ON2. Observes the pedagogical tact, the rules of pedagogical ethics, developing a favorable educational environment for the implementation of the cultural and linguistic needs of students.
ON3. Carries out effective communication, developing students' language competencies, maintaining a comfortable, accessible learning environment and an emotional and psychological climate in the classroom, using knowledge of the basics of ecology.
ON4. Uses the results of current research to improve the educational process, including lesson research (Lesson Study) in teaching and teaching methods of chemistry using methods of instrumental analysis, presenting the results of scientific research in writing.
ON5. Identifies the needs and difficulties in teaching chemistry, using the results of diagnostics of the individual characteristics of students, methods of reflection and teamwork in research / design work.
ON6. Conducts training sessions in chemical disciplines, taking into account the linguistic needs and requests of students, using information and communication technology training.
ON7. Expresses his own civic and moral position, possessing global and national spiritual and moral values.
ON8. Conducts training sessions using didactic knowledge in integration with knowledge of inorganic, organic, analytical, physical, colloidal chemistry, chemistry of elements and chemical technologies, crystal chemistry.
ON9. Develops programs and teaching methods in chemistry, designing an individual trajectory of students' development taking into account their individual abilities and needs, using information and communication technology of education and applying a wide range of educational resources, entrepreneurship and economics theory, developing non-standard thinking.
ON10. Develops teaching materials on chemical education in accordance with the set goals of the classes, with age characteristics, the needs of students, defining the methods and techniques of teaching chemistry, chemical technology and ecology, solving problems of various levels of complexity.
ON11. Builds the educational process, showing respect for the personality of students, applying knowledge of pedagogy, developmental psychology and physiology of development of schoolchildren, taking into account the levels of emotional intelligence of students.
ON12. Plans training sessions, drawing up lesson plans taking into account the characteristics and needs of students, defining appropriate teaching methods and assessment tools.
