Marine engineering and technology

Purposes

The educational program of the magistracy in the specialty "Marine equipment and technologies" is aimed at deep theoretical and managerial and practical training, qualified specialists and meeting the needs of the state for highly qualified specialists in research and educational activities in the marine field.

Results

NO1. Analyze and evaluate the state of scientific and technical problems and set goals and objectives of research design of marine equipment on the basis of selection and study of literary and patent sources, the use of forecasts of development of related fields of science and technology, taking into account the positions and opinions of other specialists.
To create and carry out patent research of new design solutions and patentability and determination of indicators of technical level of the designed samples of marine equipment.
NO2. To create technologies of design and construction of various types of marine equipment, its subsystems and elements with the use of computer 
design, advanced experience in the development of competitive products, carrying out design calculations and feasibility studies of acceptable design solutions.
NO3. To act in non-standard situations, to bear social and ethical responsibility for the decisions made.
Apply modern information technologies and their interpretations to the necessary data to form judgments on relevant social, scientific and ethical issues.
NO4.Understand communication in oral and written forms in the state, Russian and English languages to solve the problems of professional activity.
Create the necessary management conditions for the management of the team in the field of their professional 
activities.NO5. To analyze and evaluate the state of scientific and technical problems, formulate goals and design tasks to prove the feasibility of establishing new marine (river) equipment, prepare the necessary set of technical documentation;
To develop functional and structural schemes of marine technical systems with the definition of their physical principles of operation, morphology and the establishment of technical requirements for individual 
subsystems and elements.
NO6. Create different types of marine equipment, its subsystems and elements using automation in the design and technological preparation of production.
NO7. Analyze and apply strategies and types of repair and maintenance of marine (river) equipment and reasonably choose methods and methods of repair.
NO8.Apply methods of analyzing options, developing and finding compromise solutions.
