Purposes
The educational program 6B06102 - "Computer engineering" is aimed at implementing the mission, political and strategic plan of the University: providing educational services in the field of higher and postgraduate education, ensuring the competitiveness and sustainable socio-economic growth of the Mangistau region.
The purpose of this educational program is to provide high-quality training of highly qualified, competitive specialists who are able to carry out professional activities aimed at different areas of information systems, server, network and computer administrators, information security and security specialists, whose professional skills will meet the requirements of the international labor market, training of highly qualified engineers with opportunities for professional development in the field of formation of additional competencies in the field of development and implementation of modern software and hardware for information protection and formation of skills for developing mobile applications for solving professional tasks in all areas of activity not only in Kazakhstan, but also in foreign countries, which is consistent with the Mission of the University.
The goal of the program is to train graduates in the field of information technology in two trajectories: "information Protection in IP", "development of mobile applications".
Sphere of professional activity of graduates: creation and operation of information systems that automate the tasks of organizational management of commercial companies and budget institutions; analysis of requirements for information systems and business applications; set of methods and tools for developing information systems and business applications; implementation of project specifications and architecture of business applications; regulations for modifications, optimizations and development of information systems; information security of IT technologies, development of designers and mobile applications, information security experts.
The objects of professional activity of graduates are: description and modeling of information and communication processes in information systems; tools of project management; standards and methods of organizing management accounting in the enterprises; standards and methods of information interaction systems; installation, configuration and management of network infrastructure information systems; designing database management and information systems; information, software, technical, organizational and legal support of information systems and their parts; creation of components of information systems, programs and software complexes.

Demonstrates basic knowledge in the field of natural science (social, humanitarian, economic) disciplines that contribute to the formation of a highly educated personality with a broad outlook and a culture of thinking. Defines the foundations of the legal system and legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan; legal moral and ethical standards in the field of professional activity; Arguments and analyzes philosophical problems; situations of interpersonal communication; demonstrates the skills of oral, written speech, including in a foreign language, computer technology for communication, presentation, reporting and exchange of technical information in the fields of IT technology. Describes the theoretical foundations of the subject area, the structure and functioning of information systems and the principles of their interaction, uses information tools and processes to process information, uses modern methods of information management as a means of optimizing the cognitive process.

He selects, implements the optimal architecture models of computing systems and networks, as well as the physical principles of information transmission channels. Illustrates the life cycle and software development methodology. It interprets the procedure and principles for documenting and maintaining software, evaluates the effectiveness of information support for business processes of an organization. Uses mathematical logic to build algorithms and test programs in programming languages, owns the process of creating programs.

It applies the principles of building models of information processes and solving urgent problems in the professional field using information systems. It uses modern design methodologies to create various information systems, brings databases to a given level of normalization, uses a modern database management system, provides technical support for databases. Applies algorithmic languages to build and analyze algorithms and methods for writing algorithms. Demonstrates the skills of compiling and designing programs in programming languages, testing and debugging programs.
ON4
Monitors the operation of computer, server equipment and peripherals for compliance with technical specifications and service standards; introduces methods and procedures of information security of the enterprise, evaluates and sets up physical and logical means of protecting information systems, databases and transmitted messages from unauthorized access.
ON5
Uses application software for calculations, modeling and automation of the design of information processes; models two-three-dimensional objects with specified properties and sizes, uses geoinformatics and methods for representing processing and analysis of geoinformation in modern GIS, applies GIS in various fields; owns skills of working with modern hardware and software tools for analysis of design and development of control systems; applies the principles of object-oriented programming.

He selects a design concept and technique for implementing various projects, applies languages for describing and manipulating data, rules for constructing a hierarchy of objects for modeling real objects and structures; Designs and implements software, including mobile applications; conducts a performance analysis, eliminates problems in the operation of hardware and software support for information processes. It analyzes programs, identifies errors and debugs program code. Diagnoses the functioning of mobile applications.

It analyzes the functionality of the supported software, selects standards, methods, tools, and technical tools for supporting information processes and exchanging data between computing devices; demonstrates the skills of administering and configuring applications, formulates technical requirements for hardware.

Demonstrates communicative skills in society and professional environment, works in a group, offers new solutions, compares his opinion with the opinion of the team, resolves conflict situations, owns and adheres to social and ethical values in professional activities based on social norms.
