Purposes

Training of competitive geography teachers with: qualitative knowledge in the subject area, skills and abilities of teaching geography at school, national and global thinking, personal and spiritual and moral qualities, entrepreneurial, research, digital knowledge, skills and abilities, the ability to self-development and improvement of professional knowledge, skills and abilities.

Results

EO 1-Plans training sessions, drawing up lesson plans taking into account the characteristics and needs of students, defining appropriate teaching methods and assessment tools.
EO 2-Expresses its own civil and moral position, possessing global and national spiritual and moral values.
EO 3-Conducts training sessions using didactic knowledge in integration with knowledge of physical, political, social and economic geography, cartography and GIS technology.
EO 4-Designs and conducts training sessions in geographical disciplines using pedagogical technologies of differentiated and integrated learning, developmental learning, information and communication technology training.
EO 5-Builds the educational process, showing respect for the personality of students, applying knowledge of pedagogy, age psychology and physiology of the development of schoolchildren, taking into account the levels of emotional intelligence of students.
EO 6-Promotes the development of a favorable environment for the realization of cultural and linguistic needs of students, taking into account universal and national values, adhering to a democratic style in relations with schoolchildren.
EO 7-Develops training programs and methods on GIS technologies in geography, cartography using information and communication technologies of education and using a wide range of educational resources, designing the trajectory of their personal development taking into account the individual abilities and needs of students.
EO 8-Develops educational materials on disciplines in accordance with the set goals of classes, with age characteristics, needs of students, defining methods and techniques of teaching geography, physical, social and economic geography, ecology, cartography, local history.
EO 9-Identifies the needs and difficulties in learning in certain sections of school geography, using the results of diagnostics of individual characteristics of students, methods of reflection and teamwork in research / project work.
EO 10-Uses the results of current research to improve the educational process, including the use of knowledge on biogeography, landscape studies, general earth sciences, are used in local history work and the study of the region in a comprehensive geographical lesson (Lesson Study).
EO 11-Carries out effective communication, developing students' language competencies, maintaining a comfortable, accessible learning environment and an emotional and psychological climate in the classroom, contributing to the formation of a social and safe lifestyle culture among students, developing non-standard thinking, initiating innovative ideas, choosing and using information from Internet resources correctly.
EO 12-Carries out reflection of his activity, determining his needs for improving professional activity through planning scientific analysis, forecasting, field research, scientific research, exploring methodological foundations and theoretical problems of geography.
