Geology and exploration of mineral deposits

Purposes

The purpose of the educational program 7M07208-Geology and exploration of mineral deposits  during scientific and pedagogical training is to train highly qualified professionals in the field of geological sciences, capable of not only solving typical problems with the help of those mastered in the learning process, but also developing creative approaches to the implementation of their professional activities .
The main objectives of the educational program for the preparation of the Master 7M07208- Geology and exploration of mineral deposits during scientific and pedagogical training are: the training of high-class specialists for teaching in universities and colleges; training of high-class specialists for research activities in the field of geology and exploration of mineral deposits; training of managers of various parts of enterprises and organizations involved in the geological study of subsurface resources and the development of advanced technologies in geo-mapping and computer mapping, as well as modeling processes of ore formation and the development of geological and structural elements of the earth's crust.



The scientific and pedagogical master's degree program implements professional training programs of postgraduate education for the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel for the system of higher, postgraduate education and the scientific sphere, who have in-depth scientific and pedagogical training.
Types of professional activity of a graduate: graduate students in the specialty 7M07208 - "Geology and exploration of mineral deposits" in the scientific and pedagogical direction can perform the following professional activities:
- pedagogical;
- research;
-design and survey;
- organizational and management;
- production and technological;

Results

РО1- Demonstrates deep knowledge of higher school pedagogy, history and philosophy of science, psychology, and a foreign language at the level of fluency
РО2 - critically analyzes research conducted by others, and plans and conducts its own research
РО3 - systematizes scientific theories and concepts of new directions of modern geology.
РО4 - It uses modern software computer systems to solve specific theoretical and applied problems in the field of geology.
РО5 - develops geological and hydrodynamic models for the selection of the technological scheme for the development and operation of the field.
РО6 - critically analyzes and interprets geochemical and geophysical data
РО7 - Applies the learning strategy in professional activities, solves problems and makes decisions, effectively interacts in the professional and social environment
РО8 - carries out reflection and self-assessment of its research activities, determines the direction of further professional development
