Operation of ship electrical equipment and automation equipment

Purposes

The training of a specialist in the educational program "Operation of shipboard electrical equipment and automation equipment" is aimed at developing professional competencies:
- maintain and improve professional competencies and qualifications, as well as technical knowledge and professionalism of specialists in this field, taking into account the needs of the labor market;
- maintain and improve standards for the prevention of accidents on board merchant ships both at sea and in port in order to reduce the risk of injury;
- attracting new candidates to the maritime profession to train a sufficient number of specialists, which greatly contributes to the sustainable development and prosperity of maritime shipping and the maritime industry;
- provide appropriate initial training and skills during the trainees who complete professional training on the shore or aboard a ship;
- provide vocational training and retraining opportunities that meet the current and expected needs of maritime navigation in personnel of maritime affairs of various categories and ranks;
- provide training opportunities necessary to practically use technical innovations in the field of vessel operation, navigation and maritime safety;
- ensure proper practical training of students in accordance with the profile of training.

Results

ON1. Understand the technical operation of marine electrical equipment and automation;
Determine the organization of safe work on the installation and commissioning of marine electrical equipment and automation;
To reveal the tests and determination of efficiency installed, maintained and repaired shipboard electrical equipment and automation.To analyze the monitoring of technical operation of ship electrical equipment and automation.ON2. Explain the organization of service on ships in accordance with national and Convention requirements.
Understand the organization of the work of the team of performers with diverse national, religious and socio-cultural composition, the implementation of the choice, justification, adoption and implementation of management decisions.ON3. Understand the organization and improvement of accounting and document management.
Determine the choice and, if necessary, the development of rational standards of operation, maintenance and repair of marine electrical equipment and automation.
ON4. To determine the formation of the purpose of the project (program), solving problems, criteria and indicators of achievement, and to structure their relationship, identify priorities for solving tasks taking into account national and international regulations, ethical aspects of activities.
To comprehend the use of information technologies in the design, development and operation of new types of marine electrical equipment and automation equipment, as well as transport enterprises.
To disclose the development of projects of objects of professional activity taking into account physical and technical, mechanical and technological, ergonomic, aesthetic, environmental and economic requirements.
ON5.Explain the definition of the production program for the operation of marine electrical equipment and automation.
Understand the organization and effective implementation of quality control of spare parts, components and materials.
Determine the environmental safety of operation of marine electrical equipment and automation, safe working conditions of personnel.
Justify the implementation of effective engineering solutions in practice.
Justify the installation and commissioning of marine electrical equipment and automation, inspection supervision. 
ON6. Explain the organization and implementation of supervision over the operation of marine electrical equipment and automation.
Understand the organization of expertise and audit in the certification of manufactured parts, components, assemblies and systems for marine electrical equipment, and automation.
Justify the preparation and development of certification and licensing documents.
Describe the implementation of metrological verification of basic measuring instruments.
Analyze the development of technical and technological documentation. 
ON7. Explain participation in basic and applied research in shipping and other related fields.
To justify the creation of theoretical models that allow to predict the properties of objects of professional activity.
Analyze the state and dynamics of quality indicators of objects of professional activity using the necessary methods and means of research.
ON8. Explain the development of plans, programs and methods of research of objects of professional activity
Determine the technical, organizational support and implementation of research.
Compare information search and analysis of information on the objects of research to analyze the results.
