Geology and Mineral Deposit Exploration

Purposes

The purpose of the PhD program is to prepare, taking into account the prospects for the development of the country and the region, highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel with professional and research competencies in the field of geology and exploration of mineral deposits, contributing to the progressive scientific, technical, socio-economic and cultural development of society.

Results

NO 1 Аnalyzes research in the field of geochemistry of oil and gas, establishing common features of the same-age structural units in different regions, regional patterns of formation of deep groundwater in artesian basins.

NO 2 Studying the features of the formation of groundwater deposits, the main hydrogeological indicators used in predicting oil and gas potential, complex ideas about the geochemistry of groundwater.

NO 3 Develops a systematic approach to solving geological problems by determining the prospects for solid mineral deposits in the region based on a systematic analysis of the geological materials of the region.

NO 4 Analyzes the conditions of accumulation of sedimentary rocks, the geological values of the facies analysis of sedimentary formations, comparing their modern analogues with intensive research.
 
NO 5 Studying the features of the formation of groundwater deposits, the main hydrogeological indicators used in predicting oil and gas potential, complex ideas about the geochemistry of groundwater.

NO 6 Effectively communicates in the scientific and academic environment, presenting the results of independent scientific research by speaking at scientific forums, conferences, seminars, and publishing research results in highly cited, advanced national and international publications.

NO 7 Applies knowledge about the features of geodynamic research, forming the necessary skills and business qualities for independent analysis and creative collection of real data in the process of research or production activities, depending on the type of typical stratigraphic sections

NO 8 Effectively communicates in the scientific and academic environment, presenting the results of independent scientific research by speaking at scientific forums, conferences, seminars, and publishing research results in highly cited, advanced national and international publications.
