Teaching English to the Speakers of Other Languages
Purposes
The main goal of the educational program is to train highly qualified, competitive methodologists-researchers with: - in -depth knowledge that meets international standards in the field of teaching and research of foreign languages - managerial, digital, language knowledge, skills and abilities - methods of conducting psychological, pedagogical and research work in the field of foreign language education - the ability to implement the results of the conducted research in practical activities in the field of foreign language education in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Mangystau region
Results
ON 1 Demonstrates deep knowledge of higher education pedagogy, history and philosophy of science, psychology, foreign language at the level of fluency in the language; ОN 2 Critically reviews research conducted by others, and plans and conducts its own research ОN 3 Analyzes and applies modern methods and technologies to ensure the quality of the educational and methodological process ОN 4 Applies modern information technologies to solve specific theoretical and applied problems ОN 5 Develops curricula and courses for learning a foreign language at various levels ОN 6 Evaluates the effectiveness of teaching materials, process, teaching methodology and curriculum and organizes the educational process ОN 7 Solves problems and makes decisions, communicates effectively in a professional and social environment ОN 8 Carries out reflection and self-assessment of his research activities, determines the directions of further professional development
