Pedagogy and psychology

Purposes

The master of pedagogical sciences who got an education in "Pedagogics and psychology" can work as a psychologist at high comprehensive schools, preschool organizations, boarding schools, gymnasiums, lyceums, out-of-school educational institutions, in the centers of teaching staff preparation and retraining, as a teacher in teacher training colleges and in higher education institutions; as a employee of pedagogical scientific institutions.

Results

1	-	States the content of the legal framework of the education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan (laws, concepts, international agreements, standards, guidelines, rules, etc.) and professional requirements of the state and society to the individual, current priorities of educational policy;
-	it presents the prospects for improving education and innovation in education, the basics of pedagogy and psychology, the theory of teaching, methods of teaching pedagogical and psychological disciplines;
-	interprets the essence of modern educational technologies, foreign and domestic experience in the organization of professional education and world achievements of the higher education system;
-	correlates the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities that characterize the methodology of scientific and pedagogical research, the activities of a school teacher-psychologist, the formation of axiological, ideological, personal and professional qualities.
2	-	defines methodologies and methods for solving problems in a wide range of (or interdisciplinary) and new or unknown contexts related to the field of research and the introduction of continuous, systematic learning, creating teaching materials for the education system;
-	describes the mechanisms of tolerance in the ethno-cultural environment, the organization of educational programs;
-	formulates mechanisms for implementing written and oral forms of the language (speech, listening, reading, writing) as educational tools and ways to acquire skills in using modern information technologies.
3	-	prepares apparatus and materials for scientific work in the planning and organization of research work;
-	uses qualitative and quantitative methods in psychological and pedagogical research;
-	operates educational programs, psychological and pedagogical, theoretical foundations of training, education and development.
4	-	uses knowledge of pedagogical and social methods of communication and the ability to use the state language and one of the foreign languages;
-	critically demonstrates an attitude to the results of their activities (able to observe achievements and shortcomings, identifying their causes and possible ways to work in the future) and constantly updates knowledge, expanding their professional skills and competencies;
-	provides examples of demonstrating the ability to correctly design and organize the educational process for successful psychological and social conditions of undergraduates, depending on the field of study. 
5	-	selects the collection of necessary information and types of expertise for solving pedagogical and psychological problems and diagnostics of pedagogical problems;
-	explains individual and group types of work on pedagogical issues, planning and reporting on pedagogical activities;
-	training manuals for master's programs, organization and conduct of lectures, SRO, SROP, educational events based on traditional and innovative pedagogical technologies.

6	-	distinguishes the problems of the world educational space and contrasts them in the implementation of the national model of education;
-	distinguishes effective methods and methods of pedagogical and psychological research;
-	analyzes the conditions and factors when solving problems, draws a conclusion, selects an action plan, distinguishes and optimizes the main and secondary degrees;
-	collects and diagnoses information necessary to solve pedagogical and psychological problems.
7	-	distinguishes between information-analytical and information-bibliographic works involving modern information technologies;
-	concludes the results of experimental research and expert work of the master's thesis, articles, reports, analytical notes, etc.;
-	explains the knowledge gained from various disciplines to solve research problems in new circumstances. 
8	-	examines the theoretical foundations of pedagogical, psychological, creative, creative activities, updates professional activities, improving skills and acquiring skills;
-	offers non-standard, alternative solutions for the implementation of author's innovative ideas in the field of education;
-	assesses the essence of the research project, standard scientific and professional tasks, correctly and logically formulate their ideas in written and oral form;
-	protects individual research and research work.
