Industrial Heat Power

Purposes

The goals of the educational program are to obtain a professional education that allows the graduate to work successfully in the field of activity, to possess universal and subject-specialized competencies that contribute to his social mobility and stability in the labor market.

Results

ОN 1 Defines and regulates water chemistry regimes (WCM) of heat engineering facilities using modern means of measurement and control; maintaining environmental safety water treatment and carrying out environmental protection, energy and resource saving
ОN 2 Performs calculations and activities related to solving research problems for the design of boiler rooms,
central heating substations, small combined heat and power plants, as well as applying professional and research knowledge to improve efficiency in the field of their professional activities;
ОN 3 Evaluates the construction and modes of operation of power supply and heat supply systems, analyzing the quality of energy and heat; choosing the main and auxiliary equipment of power and heat supply systems
ОN 4 Effectively interacts in a professional and social environment using knowledge of languages, the basics of academic writing, emotional intelligence, anti-corruption culture
ОN 5 Expresses his own civil and moral position, possessing global and national spiritual and moral values
ОN 6 Solves professional problems in the course of work, applying knowledge of basic natural sciences, the basics of economics and safety of life and processes, using non-standard thinking, which allows finding the optimal solution
ОN 7 Demonstrates an understanding of the laws of electrical engineering for electrical and magnetic circuits, selecting electronic devices, electrical appliances and - equipment with certain parameters and characteristics
ОN 8 Assesses the efficiency of energy use in industries industry; calculating energy losses of heat technological installations and systems; as well as solar -, wind - and bioenergy installations; developing energy saving measures.
ОN 9 Uses application software packages for modeling and calculating the values of optimal and permissible loads, regulatory parameters of the coolant, choosing optimal solutions in complex engineering activities for the production of thermal and electrical energy solutions.
ОN 10 Determines the essence of the process, the purposefulness of the choice of construction material and uses the basic laws of thermodynamics, hydraulics, flow regimes, the latest methods of testing and evaluation of equipment, materials and processes, use
ОN 11 Improves professional skills, management skills with the ability to organize their own business, using knowledge of the basics of economic theory, entrepreneurship, design thinking, a foreign language, the economics of production management, the fundamentals of law
ОN 12 Explains the basic concepts, the principle of operation of measuring instruments, steam boilers and the development of operating modes of heat sources, heat pumping stations and the classification of burner installations;
