Transportation and storage of oil and gas
Purposes
During the development of the profile "Transport and storage of oil and gas" bachelors are invited to study the main issues on the design, construction and operation of oil pipelines, pumping and compressor stations, automation of equipment of pipelines and storage facilities, technological reliability of pipeline transportation of hydrocarbons, safety of technological processes, issues on special methods of pumping.
Results
ON 1. To possess skills of dispatching control of technological processes; skills of development of methods of operation and service of the equipment of the enterprises of systems of gas supply and gas consumption. ON 2. To demonstrate the skills of applying the basic principles of operation and design of all major modern organizational forms of management of promising projects for the development of marine oil and gas resources. ON 3. To use methods of production organization and technological processes of design, construction, maintenance, repair and reconstruction of oil and gas storage trunk pipelines. ON 4. To collect data for the design and construction of pipelines and storage of oil and gas, diagnostics and technological control and regulation of the process of transportation and storage of hydrocarbons on land and at sea, the sale of oil, petroleum products, gas and liquefied gases. ON 5. То use the deep knowledge gained in the development of theoretical foundations on soil mechanics, ensuring reliability and efficiency in the construction of buildings and structures. ON 6. Planning, organize and manage the work of primary production units of enterprises engaged in pipeline transportation of oil and gas, underground gas storage, storage and marketing of oil, petroleum products and liquefied gases. ON 7. Perform calculations on oil and gas transportation, underground gas storage, storage and sale of oil, petroleum products and liquefied gases using application programs. ON 8. Readiness to lead a team in the field of their professional activities, tolerant of social, ethnic and cultural differences, to organize and control the rational safe professional activities of specialists
